Parallels Tools no longer install in CentOS 6.2 or Fedora 17

I installed both these OSes and neither gets the Parallels Tools installed by default. So I tried to install the tools manually but in CentOS 6.2 it just hangs on the install in progress screen indefinitely and the disk image fails to mount in Fedora.
