KERNEL PANIC ERRORS on my MACBOOK PRO

I have recently started getting these KERNEL PANIC ERRORS on my MACBOOK PRO. It seems to be happening when I am using PARALLELS 8 with Win 8. Any ideas on what may be causing this?

TECHTOOL PRO 6.0.3 - Memory Test checked out just fine.

Seeing this as well, though I'm still using Windows 7 (on Parallels 8).

 

I am seeing the same thing and when this happens my computer restarts. = fail
Does anyone have an idea of what is causing this?

 

Brand new iMac 27" - 10.8.3, fresh install of Parallels 8, Win 7 image.
I am seeing what I believe is a similar issue. Still trying to reproduce on demand but happened 3 times today. Using Parallels in Coherence mode, if machine goes to sleep/screen saver iMac = Kernal panic/Crash. NOt all crash logs were saved but managed to grab this one:

I'm seeing the same thing with Windows 7 on the Boot Camp partition. Seems to occur more frequently when a Windows update has been applied AND/OR when my iPhone is plugged into the USB port. Steps to resolve (usually) are to reboot into the Boot Camp Partition, make sure all Windows updates are applied and finished, make sure there are no USB devices connected, and then reboot to Mac OS (10.6.8).

Any help from the Parallels Pros would be more than welcome. I never had this problem with version 6.

Because one of the most common causes of Kernel Panic is hardware, in fact if an OS is really well built only hardware can cause a kernel panic, added to that, you describe erratic behaviour when accessing a hardware component (USB), also I don't see other users describing a similar problem in the same conditions as yours, so the pieces fall in.
Call it an educated guess if you may.

 

Sorry, I have not been specific enough. Let me add more data: The likelihood of a Kernel Panic seemed to be higher if I had an iphone cable plugged into the USB port or there had been a recent Windows update, but the trigger for the kernel panic is always the moment at which Parallels attempts to open the Bootcamp partition as a VM. Since that post I have seen 3 or more kernel panics, always occurring at the moment the Bootcamp machine is launched, and occurring with no USB devices plugged in, so the USB component cannot be the root cause. Uninstalled Parallels and reinstalled, and still seeing the same problem. Other ideas?

 

I still think it might be hardware, the disk itself, do you get crashes on Windows when booting natively in bootcamp?
