I am using the More Space option in Displays (System Preferences) for the Retina display of my Macbook Pro Retina 15-inch running OS X 10.8.2, and am struggling to find a good display setting for Windows 8 hosted via Parallels 8.

Any suggestions for a good option for the Parallels settings?

I would like to run the guest Windows 8 at the native resolutions of the Retina display and my Dell U2711 as an external display when connected, and then have the choice of DPI settings either from within Windows or from Parallels. It would be helpful if Parallels could remember the monitors because for the Retina display I would like to use either 125% or 150% DPI settings and 100% for U2711.

Thank you for your thoughts in advance, guys.

I'm also interested in buying a 15" MacBook Pro Retina, a Thunderbolt Display and Parallels 8.
The MacBook I want to run in 'More space' resolution (1920*1200).
Then I also need to use Windows 8 in a Paralles 8 VM.
After reading some threads here in the forum and out in the internet I'm a bit unsure, if this is running well
regarding well (crisp) usage of both, the internal Retina-display and the external Thunderbolt Display.

Is there a solution meanwhile regarding the question in the posting above?
