After resizing the disk, on parallel Build 8.0.18494, I get a disk errors which told me to ... check disk.
    After checking with : prl_disk_tool check --hdd "/Volumes/Macintosh HD Storage - 1/Parallels/Windows 7 - Urbano.pvm/Windows 7-0.hdd"
I received the BEST EVER ANSWER ! :

    Operation progress 13520 % (<- check this !)
An error occurred during the operation: internal error (0xffffffff80000001)

WOW ! It blow my mind ! 135 times the disk was checked ... and ...

    STILL NOT WORKING !

Anybody on the other side of the pipe ?

  2. we can not help you without the problem report.

Pls start prl_disk_tool as you run before and generate the problem report (Help -> Report a problem) and post the number here.

    Problem report #26710774

    Ok.
    Thanks for you answer.

Anyway ... the fun continues ... prl_disk_tool (Help -> Report a problem) ??? ... do you have a description for this procedure ? (prl_disk_tool is a command line tool !)

If you can help me maybe I should describe the error steps:
    1. Initial disk: 128 Gb, made by a previous version of parallels.
    2. Resize disk, under Virtual Machine -> Configure -> Hardware -> Hard Disk 1 - > Edit, to 256 Gb, with unchecked "resize file system option". If I would check that option I would have from the beginning a boot an error.
    3. Windows 7, x64, boot OK.
    4. In windows, I've resized C: drive to maximum (from 128 Gb to 256 Gb) with "Expand Volume" under Windows, "My Computer -> Manage -> Disk management".
    5. Shut down ... Boot.
    6. ZzzzBANG ! Disk error, NO DISK.

Note: I don't know, but I think I noticed that the problem appears after complete "Virtual machine Windows 7 x64" ShutDown and Parallels quit.
After expanding the disk in windows and after RESTART everything looked OK, I HAD THE BIG DISK OK. The ShutDown procedure brought the problem.

Check operation was complited with an error (yes, there is a glitch with a progress in case of error).

First report don't have enough information about check procedure.
Could you run "prl_disk_tool check --hdd "/Volumes/Macintosh HD Storage - 1/Parallels/Windows 7 - Urbano.pvm/Windows 7-0.hdd" once again, send problem report and post it's id here?

    Thanks

    New report # 26735979

    Disk error after resizing.
I've noticed that this disk was made by a previous version of Parallels.
A disk made by current version can be resized without any problem.

    I've atached some screen shots.
