I upgrade to Build 9.0.23062 today and when it starts I can't get past this icon: http://cl.ly/image/1m252d1M1Y1D

It just sits there spinning and spinning. I can view the Parallels Desktop menu but Preferences is greyed out. Nothing happens. I have quit and restarted it to no avail.

I am on Mountain Lion 10.8.5.

    Thanks!

Ok, works now, but after a forced shutdown. Not sure if related, but right after update, TimeMachine backups failed for the first time, and had a freeze after restart, hence the forced shutdown.

I performed a hard reboot of my system and when it started up again, Parallels worked. I have Time Machine disabled, for the record.

Seems kind of ridiculous that yanking the power cord out of the back of my Mac Pro is the only thing that will get Parallels to install properly.

Parallels, are you watching this thread?
