Windows 8 not opening in Maverick

    I have installed Mavericks and now cant get Windows 8 to show on a screen.

    The Parallels Icon in my dock shows that it is open but all of the drop downs are greyed out.

    Please help as i have to work on my PC today and am already way behind .

    Just as an update to my issue.

    If i right click the icon in my desktop and show all windows I can see Windows 8 open but when i click on it i cant open it any large than the small icon !
