Pop up how to leave full screen mode each time starting in full screen mode

Each time I start the virtual machine in full screen mode I get the pop up how I can leave the full screen mode again. Each time I check the box that this pup up should not be shown any more. Nevertheless, with the next start of the virtual machine in full screen mode I get this pup up again. Parallels support told me that I could uncheck the box "Use active screen corners instead of MAC OS X full screen controls" in the configuration menu. This works but I would like to use these active screen corners. Does anybody know how I can get rid of this pop up being shown each time on start up?

I use Parallels Desktop 9 (and installed the latest update today) in OS 10.9. The virtual machine is Windows 8.1.

 

I have exactly the same issue. I'm also on OSX 10.9 and the VM is Windows 8.1. The suggested "work around" does its job, but I really need the active screen corners. The update to 9.0.23140 today didn't help. So a way to solve this annoying issue would be nice.

 

I am glad that I am not the only one having this problem. Maybe it is an issue of the German version. I am still waiting for the answer of Parallels support.

 

No Problem. I also use the german version and it doesn't seem to affect all users, may really be language specific. I think this issue started with Parallels 9 build 23136 if I remember correctly.

 

You are right, I did not have this problem before. I will let you know if Parallels support found a solution.
