Parallels 8 - Windows 8.1 - Kapersky not working

Had Parallels 8 with Windows 8. Read that Kapersky 2013 was supported on Windows 8.1.

Upgraded Windows 8.0 to 8.1 and found that Kapersky 2013 no longer runs (later found an update that should have been applied before the upgrade).

Now I have no antivirus. The installer for Kapersky fails because it will not run under Windows 8.1. As far as I can tell, Kapersky does not support the Parallels version of their product, so there is no download there of a Windows 8.1 version.

I am stuck. Does anyone know how to get a Kapersky version that will work with Windows 8.1?

 

Not sure it is Parallels but on (real) PC with Win8.1 Kaspersky doesn't work for me too (after upgrade from Win8)
