    Hello,

I have been evaluating Parallels 9, and I think I'm ready to purchase a license. However, my 2008 MacBook is nearing the end of its useful life and I will probably end up replacing it this summer. Is it possible to migrate the license to the new machine once I purchase it, or would I have to buy a whole new key for the new machine? Thanks.

    Hi sciguymp,

To transfer the license from your old Mac to the new one, you need to remove Parallels Desktop from the old Mac. Once you uninstall Parallels Desktop from your previous Mac, install Parallels Desktop on your new Mac and activate the product using the key that you have.

    Thanks,
    Looran
