    Hello,
I have an issue with USB.
I have an USB Joystick on my Mac. It is shown also in Parallels under devices like all other USB stuff like external HDDs etc.
I can click on an external USB HDD and it will deactivate in Mac OS X Maverick and is then working in Parallels under Win 7 Pro. But the USB Joystick stays connected to the Mac. It is not usable in Win. Why is that? Any ideas? How do I get it work in Win 7?
    Thanks,
    Marcel

  2. we can not make any guess why the device is not working until you submit us a problem report.

    Can you pls:
    - turn off VM
    - turn printer sharing off in (Virtual Machine -> Configure -> Hardware -> USB & Bluetooth)
    - turn camera sharing off
    - turn bluetooth sharing off
    - add the following boot flags in (Virtual Machine -> Configure -> Hardware -> Boot Order -> Boot flags) devices.usb.keyboard=0;devices.usb.mouse=0
    - enable verbose logging in (Parallels Desktop -> Preferences -> Advanced -> Use detailed log messages)
    - turn on VM
    - try to connect joystick to VM
    - make a problem report (Help -> Report a problem), post it our server, remember the number
    - post the number here

something strange is going inside Mac OS before the device becomes attached to the VM. Can you pls try to pass any other device inside VM, f.e. external USB mouse, and report the result here.
