Does parallels do any thing about SSD ( with windows) or users are supposed to configure some thing on windows to make efficient use of SSD? (SSDs are not good if they are treated as a regular disk). Mine is showing up just as a SATA device. If we need to do it our selves what has to be done on windows or parallels? Cheers, Arun
The best set of settings I've found so far is here: http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.php?t=106556 Basically, turn off all settings that try to optimize and/or index your disk to avoid a large quantity of disk writes; this will preserve the life of your SSD.
