Unable to determine how to stop my Parallels 9 for Mac running Windows 7 Professional from suspending and then my Mac logs the current user off. Computer is plugged in and is charging. My Mac settings are: Screen Saver - starts after 1 hour Energy Saver - Power Adapter Computer Sleep - Never Display Sleep - 30 minutes Security - General Require Password 1 hour after sleep or screen saver begins My Windows 7 Settings are - Control Panel > Power Options > Parallels Plugged In - Turn off display - Never Plugged In - Put Computer to sleep - Never Some event (haven't pinned it down) is requiring me to enter my Mac password, but it is much less than 1 hour, and my Windows 7 session has been "saved" (thank goodness) but the suspending and requiring a password on my Mac isn't the behavior that I'm expecting. Any ideas or clues on what it might be? Jim P.
This is a known bug that still isn't fixed. I'm guessing you are using a relatively new retina MBP like I am. When using Coherence mode, the machine may randomly log out, which is what it sounds like is happening to you. Until it's fixed, try using fullscreen mode instead. Steve
