Hello, About once a week, my Win 7 VM tells me that my hard drive space is low. The culprit is always the "parallels.log" file in the C:\Windows\Logs folder. This time it was over 130 GB! To fix the problem, I have to delete the file, then restart the VM. Some other points: - I typically leave my computer, and VM, running all of the time. - I am running Paralllels Desktop 9 for the Mac, but I have seen this issue with older versions as well. - I have the "Use detailed log messages" option unchecked. So is there anything I can do to fix this? Thanks.
Hi VijayD, Delete the Parallels.log file and follow the steps as suggested at http://kb.parallels.com/118741 to enable or disable parallels log file. Thanks, Abdul
Hello Abdul, as I said in my original message, I already have the "Use detailed log messages" option unchecked. I unchecked it a long time ago when this problem first started but, obviously, it has not made any difference. So are you saying that I should enable it? Thank you. Vijay
Hello Have same problem. My current parallels.log file has 132 Gb And as VijayD i have never have enable parallels log file. It Always unchecked.
