I am using Parallels with XP on my mac, and wanted to create a new vritual hard disk to use in XP VM, I did so by choosing edit Virtual Machine and adding one there, but it did not appear in my computer on XP... any thing I did wrong?

You probably need to go to localgical disk manager and partion/format it now.

    Hi,
I would be interested in an answer to this question too. Alternatively I would like to know how to expand an existing virtual disk. It seems that in version 3.0 the tool for managing virtual disks is not available anymore. Any reasons for this?

How to format a newly created virtual disk in fat32 or NFST?

    thanks in advance,
    august
