Is it possible to download and run parallels on a passport or external drive for my MacBook Pro? I do't have enough memory to download and run it on my laptop. So if I don't have a lot of memory, yet now need to run microsoft programs from home for my work, what are my options? Thanks!
Hi FaithC, You would need about 850 MB of disk space on the boot volume (Macintosh HD) for Parallels Desktop installation. Also, during the creation of the Virtual Machine you can select a destination folder and save the Windows Virtual Machine to your external drive. This information is available on Step 6 in the article mentioned below: http://kb.parallels.com/4729 Thanks, Looran
