I'm having trouble running Command and Conquer: Tiberian Dawn (that's the first C&C game) - when I brought it up in the EA Games forum http://forums.ea.com/mboards/thread.jspa?messageID=2485268, it seems that a user believes that the game is "running in 16 colors" instead of 256 for some reason, and believes that there may be a problem with running a game full-screen (640x480) in 256 color mode.

    Can someone help with this?

    Hello,

Start Parallels and Windows. Go to game start file. Right-click (by default, shift-ctrl-click) - Properties - compatibility tab - check run in 256 mode, run in full screen 640x480 and the last one - Click OK. Try to start C&C.

    p.s. Great game ;-)

    Best regards,
    Mike

Nope, doesn't work. According to advice from the EA Games forum, all three options should be off. They also claim that this problem is related to DirectX - apparently Parallels may have problems running games full-screen in 256 colors.
