My Internet Explorer has been hijacked (i.e. my browser web page cannot be changed from a site that I don't want). What can I do?

Sounds like a....... Virus! Welcome to the Windows world. Try installing Kaspersky and running that.

FYI, Parallels is bundled with a free 6 month trial version of Kapersky internet security suite.
The option to install it is in the "Actions" menu (top of the monitor).

I am confused. Is it that your home page has been changed? Or is it that a page is asking you to click on something and will not allow you to exit the page until you click on it?

There are two different solutions. You can reset your Home Page in Internet Explorer Preferences.

In the second case, I would go into the task manager and kill IE rather than click on anything.
