Hi, I have Desktop9 running on a 2 year old iMac, just installed windows7. I've allocated 1GB of video memory and 4GB of ram and 4 cpu's (out of 8). I'm trying to run Goat Simulator game (Steam), it keeps crashing and says that it ran out of video memory. The game only needs 512mb of video memory, how can I see how much video memory Windows 7 is using? Cheers, Jason.
Hi Jason, Please follow the steps as suggested below : - Isolate Windows from Mac as suggested at http://kb.parallels.com/112942 and reinstall Parallels Tools as suggested at http://kb.parallels.com/4841 - Change Direct X to 9 by Go to VM Configure ( http://kb.parallels.com/117287 ) -> Hardware -> Video -> 3D acceleration. Thanks, Abdul
Thanks Abdul, Done the above and it's stopped the crashing, however the game is now very jerky and freezes regularly (about every 10 seconds). Any other ideas or should I just wait til it comes out on Mac...? Cheers, Jason.
