Black Screen after boot

    After Windows boots the screen goes black and never shows desktop. Virtual Machine appears to be working but never shows desktop. Any ideas?

    Please reinstall Parallels Tools in Safe Mode,

    I Have the same problem, but i can't re-install Parellls Tools because I can see nothing. The screen is black :) :(

    OK; I have restarted holding F8 and I have run Parallels tools.

    Every thin works fine now.

    I have a similar problem. I attempted to start in safe mode, but it too, froze/locked up during login. I tried to access windows via bootcamp and that also has stopped working.
