    Hello

I’m in a spot of bother.

I’ve recently moved from a Windows PC to an iMac on which I installed Parallels, Windows 8.1 and Office 2010.

Outlook started crashing so I did an Office repair and it seemed to help, I think.

Later Excel developed problems so I tried to do a Repair again and during the process got this error message:

    Error 1307
There is not enough disk space to install
    C:\Program Files (x86) \ Microsoft Office \ Office 14 \ PPCore.DLL
Free up more disk space or etc etc……..

I don’t know how to do this.

Can someone please advise how to fix this?

I searched on the net but couldn’t find a solution for the latest Parallels that I could understand.

Although I’ve been computing for 20 years I am very new to Parallels and Macs.

I’ve put the process on hold for fear of not knowing what damage I may cause to my Office installation which I desperately cannot afford to lose.

Thank you for any assistance you can offer.

Well, the obvious question is, how much free disk space is Windows reporting?

Hello and thank you for your reply.

After leaving the Windows Virtual Machine effectively stalled showing the 107 error for quite a while another dialogue popped up on top and now Windows says "0 bytes free of 63.6 GB".

The iMac has a 1TB hard drive.

So there's your answer, you don't have free space on the VM disk, you can free up space like you would do on Windows normally.

And/or increase the VM disk size: http://kb.parallels.com/en/113972

    Thankyou for your advice.

In the end I did not need to do this (yet?) because I found the cause of conflicts in Excel was Nokia Suite so I took the latter off.

However your information will be handy should the need arise. :)
