Losing XP virtual hard disk.

Twice now I have changed settings in Parallels and lost my Windows XP virtual machine files in /Documents/Parallels. So when I launch Parallels it starts into the install wizard. After the first time and the time spent on the phone to Microsoft to get my new install activated I made some backups. The next time this happened I had increased the RAM on my VM and then a bit later launched and it wanted to start the install again because the VM had gone!

Any idea what causes this ?

Normally you never loose vm. Search in spotlight for "winxp.hdd", in this map is the fully vm off windows.

Then you have to install it all over again
