Why does my computer freeze up all the time? *********************************** Windows 7 Ultimate in Parallels VM. Parallels vers. 9 -latest version - was same before with version 6 130 GB free on disk 6 GB RAM for Windows 6 GB RAM for iMac OS X 9 Mavericks - but same problem with v.6 Snow Leopard. I have followed advice in: http://kb.parallels.com/en/5033 BTW -there is no .SAV file, only the .mem file Also quit prl_vm_app in Activity Monitor. Nothing helps. I have defragged - All OK Daily CCleaner. Only way to restart is Stop the Virtual Machine and start again. When it freezes I loose all current tasks. * It can freeze with No activity at all - just idle. * Can happen after half hour or several hours of light work * or after a 8 hour day with browsing and running several tasks simultaneous. Some days 4 -5 times, other days just once. There is no particular pattern just at random. I have spent days to find a remedy, but to no avail. Any solution ?
Is there no Parallels Expert who might have a hint why Parallels Freezes all the time ? I see post's as far back as 2010 with exactly the same problem - why is nothing done about it ?
