I was using Virtual PC v. 6.1.1 on my G4 Mac. I've since bought an Intel based machine and found out that Virtual PC won't work on this new machine.
I've got a database in Virtual PC that I have spent a few years building and cannot access it now.
If I got Parallels, would I be able to salvage that database? It's part of a coin collecting software called "Collector's Assistant 2000" by Carlisle Development Corp.
I have not purchased Parallels, yet, because this would be the only reason I would need it.
    Please advise,
    Monte

You could convert your existing Virtual PC VM using either Parallels Transporter or VMWare Converter, either of which would then allow you to run your existing (virtual) machine on your Intel Mac. Parallels Desktop for Mac is available in a fully functional trial version, and VMWare's pre-release product is currently free, so you try either (or both) before spending any money.

Forgive my ignorance, but I can't seem to find the VMWare converter so as to download it.
I would like to try it first.
    Thank you,
