Boot Ubuntu from a hardisk like boot camp partition, not from virtual disk

    Dear All,
    my question is really simple: Can I run Ubuntu 14.04 directly from the hard disk, as I did for Windows 7, instead to install Ubuntu in a Virtual disk?

    I have a Mac with triple boot.
    - OSX 10.9.4
    - Windows 7
    - Ubuntu 14.04
    Each OS is on a dedicated SSD.

    I have just installed Parallel Desktop 9 for Mac

    I was able to run Windows 7 from the hard disk where it's installed: perfect and easier compared to VMWare.

    I don't know if the MAC would support linux in native mode.
