I currently have version 7 and would like 10, but I cannot upgrade. 2 questions:

    1. Can I use a trial key and version 9 as a bridge?
    2. If not, do I install 10 over my existing? I have things in windows I don't want to lose.

    Thanks!

    Hi Cory,
According to the licensing policy, the upgrade to Parallels Desktop 10 for Mac is only supported from the following versions:
    • Parallels Desktop 8 for Mac
    • Parallels Desktop 8 for Mac Upgrade
    • Parallels Desktop 9 for Mac
    • Parallels Desktop 9 for Mac Upgrade
As your previous version key is Parallels Desktop 7 you need to purchase a full license for Parallels Desktop 10 for Mac.
    1. You can not use Parallels Desktop 9 key as a bridge.
    2. You can download and install Parallels Desktop 10 on your Mac it will remove previous version of Parallels Desktop for Mac ( it will remove only application not the Virtual Machine or your data. ) After installing Parallels Desktop 10 you do not need to reinstall Windows or create a new virtual machine. You can successfully use your existing virtual machine.

Excellent! That's what I thought but I wasn't sure. I guess you are upgrading at full cost. Thanks for the help!
