Hello, I am running Yosemite von MacBookAir, Parallels 10, Windows 7 and PowerPoint 2010 for Windows. I want to show my presentation in presenter view on a connected projector. But presenter view is only displayed on my internal screen not the projector. Any ideas how i can get this to work properly? Any help appricated! Thanks, Tom
Hello I have the same problem, running Yosemite with MacBookAir 13", Parallels 9, Windows 8.1, Powerpoint 2013 for Windows. Help would be appreciated as well! Thanks, Sam
AFAIK, if the projector connects via DisplayPort/DVI/VGA/HDMI (or even Thunderbolt) then it's basically a second screen, you can just move your Windows full screen VM to that second screen via Mission Control.
Thanks, but that doesn't help. I see the presenter view (with my notes) on my laptop screen, but the projector displays the identical screen. However, I don't want the audience to see my notes. They should only see the slides (full screen). I'd use Powerpoint for Mac, but unfortunately Powerpoint for Mac does not display mathematical formulas properly. For that reason I would like to use Powerpoint for Windows with Parallels for my lectures. A fix would be greatly appreciated! Cheers, Sam
ps: the presenter view with Powerpoint for Mac works as it should (I see the notes, the audience full screen slides on projector). The only problem for me is that it does not properly display formulas that were created with the formula editor in PPT for Windows.
