    Dear all

I apologize for my question in advance.
Do I need (or is it recommendable) to run a antivirus software for the virtual machine (Win8) when I already run (e.g) norton security on my mac device. I think I should, but I am not sure. I own a multiuser license from norton, but I doubt if I should run norton parallel (on mac yosemit and on the VM Win8).
    Many thanks for your feedback!
    Regards
    Frank

    Hello FrankM1,
It is not mandatory to have a Anti-virus on the Windows Virtual machine.
We would suggest you to have an Anti-Virus on your Windows Virtual Machine to secure files in Windows.
As you have Norton Anti-virus muti-user license , you can install it with its installation file in Windows Virtual machine with the steps in the Knowledge Base article http://kb.parallels.com/119310 & check how it woks!
