I just installed Windows 10 Tech Preview. It seems I cannot use the Microphone for Cortana. Any solutions for this?

I also found that Skype cannot access the camera properly. When I got into Skype Options, the Camera turns on (see the green light) but stays black in Skype. Sounds also randomly stop too in Windows 10 - restarting the OS brings back sounds but nothing that I do seems to allow the Mic and Camera to work.

    Hi Richard3,
Please (re)install Parallels Tools by following the steps suggested at: http://kb.parallels.com/4841
If the issue still persists, please follow the steps provided below:
    1. Check if the Microphone is working properly on Mac OS X side. 2. Launch Parallels Desktop but do not start the Windows Virtual Machine 3. Click on Virtual Machine Configuration (http://kb.parallels.com/117287) > Configure > Hardware > Sound 4. If this device is absent, you can add it to Virtual Machine Configuration, by clicking the + sign in the bottom of Configuration window
    1. Select the Connected option to have the sound device automatically connected on the virtual machine start up.
    2. In the Input drop down menu select Built-in Input and close the Configuration window.
If the issue persists then proceed to the following steps:
    1. Launch Parallels Desktop but do not start the Windows Virtual Machine.
    2. Click on Virtual Machine menu > Configure > Hardware > Sound
    3. In the Input drop down menu select the name of the microphone.
    4. Start Windows virtual machine and go to Device Manager by right-clicking on My Computer > Manage > Device Manager
    5. Click on Sound, video and games controller and check if there is any signs. Right-click on device and choose "Delete". Delete every device with the sign.
    6. Choose Scan for hardware changes
    7. Check if the microphone works in Windows virtual machine.
Also Click on Virtual Machine Configuration (http://kb.parallels.com/117287) > Configure > Hardware > USB & Bluetooth > Enable Automatic sharing: Web cameras.
