Will I be able to run WordPerfect X6 using Vista Ultimate, preferably, as I own both?
I am about to order a new iMac and was torn between using BootCamp, and I know I need to use Windows 8, or
just purchase Parallels 10, run under Parallels, as I do now on my old Macbook Pro running Snow Leopard.

But here's the catch.....and it works on my Macbook Pro: I then have to install Virtual PC 2007 so I can run
Windows 98DOS 5.1 .......yes 5.1! I cannot use DOS 6.22. I'm a court reporter whose office is very, very archaeic, as you can tell.

This all runs fine on my Vista PC desktop which is at the end of its life, and I really want to stay all MAC if possible.
    Thank you for anyone's input!

    Hello Irene,
You will be able to run WordPerfect X6 using Vista Ultimate. You can go ahead and purchase Parallels Desktop 10 to install it on your Mac.
For system requirements, please refer to http://kb.parallels.com/122662

    Thanks,

Thank you. Guess that's my easiest way to run my software and then inside of Vista I can install virtual pc 2007.
