I just installed the upgrade to PD10.2.0 (28956). When I launched the newly installed version and "resumed" Windows, the OS immediately began shutting down, but is unable to finish. Is there some way to force the shutdown to complete? I've tried fn+control+option+delete, to no avail.
Found the Stop and forced shutdown. Chose the normal restart option and Windows seemed to come up OK. Parallel Tools had to be reinstalled, after which Windows hung trying to shut down again. Once again forced shutdown and restarted normally again. Tried launching Quicken under Windows and it seems to have started up OK. I don't know if Shut Down is still crippled or not, but I can work around it if it is.
Hello WarrenF, Please follow the steps as suggested at http://kb.parallels.com/6338 to stop your Windows Virtual Machine. After a restart of Windows , if you have an issue with Parallels Tools installation , please refer the knowledge base article http://kb.parallels.com/en/4841 and check how it works!
