Parallels Desktop for Mac v9 on 32 Bit Kernel?

I have a Mac Pro 2,1 with dual 3 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon Processors and 8GB RAM with Mac OS X 10.7.5 installed.

It is not capable of 64-bit Kernel and Extensions, so I understand Parallels 10 is not going to work on this.

My question is whether version 9 is going to work on this processor, or version 8, or am I already out of lunch?

 

Hi @PaulB1, unfortunately no. Parallels Desktop 9 and 8 is the is a 64-bit application.
