I'm running as a Parallels VM. I recently upgraded from 14.04 -to- 14.10 -to- 15.04. Once the upgrade was complete I enter my password, I appear to authenticate, but nothing loads. No launcher bar, no tray, nothing. Right clicking doesn't work, etc. I have mouse pointer movement only, but nothing else.

I guess to start, how do I get Parallels to let me get the GRUB menu for Ubuntu? All things Ubuntu say to hold Shift doing boot. But that's a no go.

Then is there anyone else having this issue?

    Hello.
What version of PD have you?
Only the last version of Parallels Tools is compatible with 15.04.
    Bye

    Hi TimL2,
Please follow the steps suggested below to enter GRUB.
    1. Stop the running Virtual Machine.
    2. Click to start the Machine. Click mouse pointer again inside the Virtual machine environment.
    3. Tap "Alt"key to enter GRUB.

Please let us know which version of Parallels Desktop you are using, so that we can help you better.
