This is my first endeavor into the duel operating system world. I'm using a drawing program called VCarve Pro. I keep encountering fatal errors. Vectric refuses a discussion because the diagnostic dump file shows the use of Parallels. Is this a common practice from windows software providers when using Parallels?
No, but I guess in the case of this specific software there's an expectation of native rather than virtualized graphics driver support. My advice is to run it from a Boot Camp installation instead so you can use the Intel (or other) drivers directly. And if you think Vectric is treating you shittily by refusing to even discuss how they might help you, then take your custom & money elsewhere and let them know why.
Hi Woody, Please try isolating Mac from Windows and check how it works. Refer http://kb.parallels.com/112942
