Cant remove "Switch between apps" popup

Annoying popup in the top left corner. No response from the pointer. I've tried the registry solution, its still there. The "Corners and edges" solution, its still there. It's getting pretty annoying. It's Windows 8.1 and Parallels 10.


Anyone else got this problem?

Hi @Manwel, please try steps below:

1. Go to Search and enter Local Group Policy Editor or gpedit.msc
2. Expand User Configuration, Administrative Templates, Windows Components, and lastly Edge UI
3. Double click on Disable Help Tips
4. Set the configuration to Enabled
5. Select Apply and exit Local Group Policy Editor.

 

I tried that. The popup is still there.

 

@Manwel, please try the steps below:
1. Open Windows registry: Press "cmd"+"R" combination, type 'regedit' and Return (Enter) to run Registry Editor.
2. Locate and highlight HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\EdgeUI and look for DisableHelpSticker in the right box.
3. After that please change the value to 1

Then please do the same with HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\EdgeUI line.

Except for that please create a snapshot before performing steps above (Actions -> take a snapshot)
