I only use Parallels Desktop occasionally to run XP on my mac mini but each time I do my Mac anti-virus (Avast) finds a trojan in the .pvm when I run a scan. The virus is identified as WIN32: Bamital-CA. I get Avast to either delete it or move it to the virus chest (I've tried both) and the next scan is clean. Then, after I next use Parallels, it comes back. I have the LAN disabled under XP and I have even unplugged the cable so I know it is not coming from the internet so it must be recreating itself somehow. Any suggestions on how I can get rid of it completely please?
    I'm running Yosemite 10.10.4 and Parallels 9.

@IvanM3 did you try another Security Software, for example dr. Web?

I've installed AVG within the Windows XP environment. It also found the trojan and deleted it. Then I closed parallels and ran the anti-virus in the Mac OS X environment and it had reappeared. The location of it seems to be in a registry key so it can possibly be deleted manually. I have used regedit in the past but it's a long time ago so I wouldn't want to try without detailled instructions.

It's not a great problem as I don't use the internet within XP, just a nuisance. I just scan the pvm everytime I leave Windows and get rid of it before I do anything else.
