Howdy guys, I just bought P10 a few weeks ago, and I have a simple question: Parallels 11 fully supports the coming OS X El Capitan, but does that mean that Parallels 10 won't run on it? Cheers!
Hi @HenriJ, It doesn't mean that the Parallels 10 will not run on OS X El Capitan. Actually it means that every of Parallels Desktop version has full compatibly with new version of newest OS X. We had the same situation with Parallels Desktop 9 and Yosemite: the 10version is full compatibility with Yosemite but 9version also runs with this OS X. So, please do not worry and if you will see any issue please let us know, we will check it.
@HenriJ let me please add more information: We would like to let you know that customers who purchased and activated a copy of Parallels Desktop 10 for Mac from the Parallels Online Store or an authorized reseller on or after July 29, 2015 through October 31, 2015, are eligible for an upgrade to the next version of Parallels Desktop for Mac at no charge. So, please check your invoice and let us know if you didn't receive your key.
Will PD 10 be updated to run on El Capitan without disabling Rootless (SIP) ? Does PD 11 run on El Capitan now? Currently running El Capitan DP 6.
