Coherence Fails In Parallels 11 and Windows 10

    I have a late 2014 27 inch iMac with the 5k retina display. After installing Parallels 11, I cannot enter coherence mode. All I get is a black screen. I did NOT have this issue with Parallels 10! I have reinstalled Parallels Tools multiple times to no avail. Has anyone else experienced this? I submitted a support request but haven't heard jack.
     
  2. Hi @ThomasL3, please perform the following steps:
    1. Start your Windows PC -> click on Start and type in the "Search" box "cmd" (without quotes) and hit Enter

    2. In the Command prompt window please type the following command:

    sfc /scannow and hit Enter.
    3. Once the system scanning finished please restart your VM and check the issue.

    Didn't work. Now when I click on the Windows icon, it's still black. I've attached a screen shot.

    I set the RAM to 16 GB and the VRAM to 512 MB. All is working now! Thanks for your help!
