Using Parallels 11. Just upgraded from WIN 8.1 to WIN 10. On the Apple application bar it still has Windows 8.1 and Windows 8.1 applications and when I start Windows the initial screen says Windows 8.1 before switching to Windows 10. WIN 10 runs just fine after that. Why has Win 8.1 on application bar not been replaced with WIN 10 and why does initial screen on starting Windows appear as Windows 8.1 before launching Win 10? Hello MicaehlB7, Please follow the steps below to change the name of the virtual machine: 1.Shutdown the virtual machine. 2.Open virtual machine configuration. 3.Switch to General tab and type the desired name in Name field. 4.Restart Parallels Desktop and check how it works. Thanks!
