    Hi all,

Each of my Windows Guest Operating systems under my OS X host are reflecting my OS X host desktop icons.

Is there a way to fix this or is this part of the way Parallels Desktop works?

This has been happening for quite some time and long before my most recent upgrade to PD11 and Windows 10.

Not that big of a deal.
But this is really distracting me.

    Hi all,
Not trying to be pushy or anything.

Could anyone please reply whether this is happening to them or not?

    Thanks in advance.

Open up the VM. Go to Actions => Configure, Select the options tab, Click Sharing, Uncheck "Shared Profile"

If you just want to disable shared desktop the options button under sharing lets you enable & disable specific folder sharing (i.e. Desktop)...

    Just wondering.
Now what I've removed the sharing from all my Guest OSs,
there are still heaps and heaps of Guest related icons on my OS X desktop.

Is it safe to remove the extra Guest icons from my OS X desktop?
