Running Parallels Desktop 10 on Yosemite. I would like to start up my guest vm's on an external monitor, instead of my main macbook pro display. I had this configured on a previous version, however I am unable to find any configuration settings with the current version that will let me specify what display the VM's will start on. Can anyone help with this one?

    Hi Chuck,
Please try (re)installing Parallels Tools and check how it works, refer http://kb.parallels.com/4841 Also try using full screen mode and check if you are able to view the Virtual Machine on the External monitor.

I've tried the reinstall several times. I've also had several Parallels 10 updates since this issue started and I am still unable to have any of the 6 VM's installed start on the external monitor.
The 6 vm's include, Windows 7 Pro, Linux Mint 17, CentOS Linux 6.6, Elementary OS, and Fedora 21.
All of them start on my main Macbook display and I have to drag over to the external display. I can then go to full screen.
I've tried leaving it at full screen when I shutdown the VM on the external display, however it starts up again on the Macbook display.
