    Hi.

Parallels could not find the bootcamp drive after upgrade, disabled SIP in recovery.

After restart, launching parallels triggers instant black screen of death.

    Any advice?

I have installed latest version of parallels.

I have the same experience using Parallels 11 and El Capitain and Windows 8.1. Black screen and says it can't find the boot disk.

  3. Guys, please try the steps below:

    1. Open your Boot Camp virtual machine but do not start it.
    2. Open 'Configuration Editor' ('Edit' -> 'Virtual Machine').
    3. Select 'Hard Disk' tab.
    4. In the 'hard disk' settings pane, click the 'Advanced' tab.
    5. In the 'Cleanup Boot Camp Partition' area, click the 'Clear' button.
    6. Try to create a new VM via 'File' -> 'New'.

    Hi Maria.
I cannot open paralells, it instantly crashes the whole mac, giving blackscreen of death and a reboot.
    So no dice.
