Save state of VM to file for quick rollback restore?

    Writing a programming book & want to make sure I start with a clean state each time. What'd I'd like to

    Rig:
    Late 2013 Mac Pro, 3.5 Ghz 6-core Xeon E5
    64GB RAM, 256 GB SSD w/100GB available
    Parallels Desktop 11.0.2 w/OSX 10.9.3 and Ubuntu Linux VMs
