The upgrade to from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 fails on 'not enough RAM'. The VM has 4GB assigned and this should be more than enough.

Contacted Microsoft helpdesk but they don't give support on this. Anyone else with the same problem?

    Hi ArnoD,
    1. Please try to increase your virtual machine hard disk space.
    2. Uninstall antivirus (if any)
    3. Then please follow this article

Hi, for installing a 64-bit version of Windows 10 please make sure your virtual machine has at least 2GB of RAM assigned. To check virtual machine's RAM please open configuration menu -> Hardware tab -> CPU & Memory. To increase the memory you would need to shut down your virtual machine.

I increased the assigned RAM to 8GB and the hard disk size to over 100GB. Still the same message about not enough RAM available.
