    I've been using this Windows Server 2012 R2 Vm for work for over a year, and today, all of a sudden when I try to start it, I get a pop up saying: "The virtual machine was restarted. The virtual machine processor was reset by the operating system." over and over. I have no idea what happened, the last thing I remember was deleting a snapshot a couple of days ago to free up some space and I haven't used the VM since.

    Has anyone ever encountered a problem like this??

    By the way, I'm on a MacBook Pro 13' Mid-2012, OS X 10.10.5.
    I do not wish to seem impatient, but I urgently need to be able to recover that VM. I also didn't get any response for the ticket I've summited yesterday....

    Is this the kind support I'm supposed to expect whenever I run into a problem?

    Hi DanielM8, please follow the steps mentioned below to fix the issue:
    1.Shut down the virtual machine and open its configuration.
    2.Switch to Hardware tab and choose Boot Order menu.
    3.Expand Advanced Settings menu and insert the following flag in the Boot flags textbox:
    kernel.report_hibernate=0
    4.Close configuration window and check the behavior.
