Hello, I would like to upgrade one of my virtual machines from Windows 8 to Windows 10, so am considering purchasing Parallels 11 to do so. I am currently running Parallels 8 on OS X Yosemite 10.10.3. I am happy with this OS X version. On the Parallels 11 kb article, http://kb.parallels.com/en/123276, under software, it lists the software version needed for Mac OS X Yosemite as 10.10.4 or greater. Question: Would installing to Yosemite 10.10.3 still work? I would prefer not doing any changes to my OS X version. I noticed here: http://blog.parallels.com/blog/2015/09/11/wtf-why-cant-i-install-parallels-desktop-11/, that the requirements had used to be 10.10.3, so curious if I could still install the product on my existing OS X version. Thank you for the assistance.
Yes, Parallels Desktop 10 does support on Mac OS X Yosemite and El Capitan. Kindly check out this article http://kb.parallels.com/114381
Thanks, changing to Parallels 11 went smoothly. Able to load my existing virtual machines on existing OS.
