Does anyone have ideas on how long compressor should run? I have a 70 GB virtual disk that I deleted 40 GB of data from. I started compressor 3 days ago and it is still running. Is this to be expected?

I found out from Parallel's support (BTW, thanks guys for the quick response!) that it has been fixed in the next release of 3.0 due out shortly.

Mine has been running several hours. How long in the current release should it take? 32GB expanding Vista HDD.

    Compressor in 3.0

I just installed the latest 3.0 and compressor is
still really slow, shrinks the winxp.hdd about
.01 Gig every four minutes is this expected
    behavior??

Host: Mac Book dual core 1 Gig Ram
    VM: XP Service Pack 2

    39GB compressed to 12GB in 4 days

Yes, it seemed extremely slow, but mine finally completed. The nearly imperceptible movement of the progress bar kept me hopeful, but it took nearly 4 days with nothing else running (Parallels Desktop 3.0 build 4560, Mac OS 10.4.10, MacPro Quad 2GHZ, 3GB RAM, 500GB RAID0)
