Read/Write between parallels

Hello, I am new to parallels. Firstly, does windows xp work on parallels?
Second, can i read/write to windows files and mac files interchangeably between parallels?

I installed windows xp! I have a question? According to this screen shot, it looks like I have only have 2GB of space and have already used quite a bit. Is that correct? How do I expand my VM space?
Btw, do you know how to set and keep the screen resolution size? When I go to full screen the resolution is maxed. I want to set and keep it at 1024 x 768. thx.

1. Please follow the steps suggested at http://kb.parallels.com/119926 and set your resolution to scaled.
2. Also follow the steps suggested at http://kb.parallels.com/116141 to set custom resolution.
