    Hello,

I have two computers with all of the above.

The first my Macbook Pro seems to work fine after following this procedure:
    Boot into Boot Camp
    Upgrade to Windows 10
    Boot into Yosemite
Upgrade to Mac Os to El Capitan
    Upgrade to Parallels 11

However my Mac pro after following the same procedure wont run Parallels and says I need to create a new VM.

    So my questions are:
Should I now delete the non-working Parallels VM and simply create a new one (file > import Boot Camp)?
If I delete the now not-working Parallels VM will it destroy or create any problems with my Boot Camp OS?
Have I missed anything important here that could affect Windows activation or will I lose anything/is this a destructive situation?

    Thanks for any help.

    Spencer

Dear Spencer, could you please provide the screenshot of the error message when you are trying to create BootCamp based virtual machine? also please create a Problem Report for the virtual machine as described here http://kb.parallels.com/en/9058 and provide us with the Problem Report ID

    Hi Paul,

Thanks for your help with this and sorry for my slow response, I had to leave this over the new year break.

Please find attached an screenshot which shows the pop up errors and the bootcamp screen to help you resolve the issue. I also created a problem report and believe this has been sent to you via the report generator.

Please let me know if I need to give you anything else to help resolve my issue.

    Kind regards

    Spencer

Hello, It seems that you're on outdated build of Parallels Desktop 11, please update Parallels Desktop to the latest build 11.1.2 (32408). You can update to the latest build as suggested in this article. Latest version always available here: http://www.parallels.com/directdownload/pd11/ Please note that Parallels Tools also needs to be updated (Actions > Update Parallels Tools). Please see this article to know more about Parallels Desktop 11 for Mac updates summary.

I've just tried installing the version from the link you sent but i'm still having exactly the same issue. Just to note that I had already installed the latest version before I contacted via the 'Check for updates' function in parallels.

Can you advise what to do next?
    Thanks

    Spencer
