I have this problem, whenever I start the VM a message pops up which says "The Parallels-network-modul cannot be opened". To fix this I should go to Parallels Desktop > Settings > Network and click restore default settings. When I do, it takes a few seconds and then another message pops up saying "The IP-Adress of the Parallels Network-adapter wasn't changed". The problem is still occurring afterwards. I still can't connect to the internet and the first message still shows up whenever I start the VM. What should I do?
Hi Christopher, this issue occurred because of the permission issue on Mac side. Please refer to this article to fix the issue.
Ok thanks for the answer, but with the new OS X the disk utility program looks a bit different. So there is no option to click "Repair Disk Permissions". And the second solution described on the site doesn't help me neither. Any other ideas?
Hi, please reproduce a problem and send a problem report (menu of Parallels Desktop -> Help -> Send technical data) and post here its number
Hi, as far as I see, the problem is that you are running Parallels 8 in Mac OS X 10.11.2 and there is some conflict due to it (afaik, it is connected with incompatibility of drivers signing). I'll contact proper person to know whether it is possible to run Parallels 8 in 10.11.2..
Hi, I've got the information, that PD8 could work at most in Mac OS X 10.9. Mac OS X 10.11 is only supported in PD11
