For some reason when I'm in my Windows guest file explorer and try to open an Adobe Illustrator file - illustrator (Mac) is not an option to open with. I have to navigate to the same location in Finder and open in Illustrator (Mac). However, I do have access to InDesign (Mac), Photoshop (Mac), Lightroom (Mac), etc (basically all other Adobe CC Mac software is available as and "Open with" option except for illustrator.

I've tried "finding" it but can't seem to navigate to the Mac applications folder in the windows explorer window that pops up.

    Thoughts?

Hi, please follow the steps to fix crashes:
    1. Start your Windows virtual machine -> click on Start and type in the "Search" box "cmd" -> on the top of the list please right click on the "Command prompt" and choose run as administrator (for more information please see the screenshot in the attachment
    2. In the Command prompt window please type the following command:
    sfc /scannow and hit Enter.
    3. Once the system scanning finished please restart Windows and install Parallels Tools once again.

I got frustrated and just uninstalled Illustrator and reinstalled it on the Mac. It showed up then. I'm not sure if that's the right solution, but that is what I did and it ended up fixing it.
